Andy Surber of Rockhouse Music Alliance
Episode 7 & 13

Welcome back to Sound Pollution everyone. This week I got to have a fun and awesome interview with Andy Surber from Rockhouse Music Alliance (RMA) a label for independent musicians. Andy is an Americana artist, Leveraging on his unique and simplistic songwriting style. He brings a range of music to the table that spans several styles and genres. While Andy has spent the majority of his musical career as a drummer for various bands and artists, he has been honing and crafting his performance and songwriting skills. Now stepping to the front of the stage, Andy stands ready to bring something that each audience member will love. His songs a raw, often reference harsh reality, and meant to be interpreted by the listener. Andy released his first single, Another Grave..., in January of 2020 and has been hard at work in the studio recording more material that he has created over the years. On this episode of Sound Pollution Andy fills us all in on the RMA label, his single Another Grave, his songwriting and the joke why people seem to always die in his song. You can find Andy on Facebook and YouTube To check out the other artists on RMA you can find them on Facebook as well. Eric Worley at Thumper Salyer at and Arnold Davidson at I wanna again, thank Andy for taking some time with me for this interview. I hope all the listeners out there are safe and healthy.
Eric Worley of RMA
Episode 8 & 13

Welcome back to Sound Pollution. This is episode seven and I got the delight of interviewing singer, songwriter and new father, Eric Worley. We will be discussing the usual, inspirations, where he comes from etc. As well as 2 songs; Aint A Love Song and How Did We Get This Way He also plays another one of his songs for the podcast so make sure you listen to all of the Episode. Eric Worley is with Rockhouse Music Alliance Eric is one of few artists that has the ability to make every song he plays fit his style. Eric conforms to no standard other than his own. He creates a refreshing trip back in time before all country songs sounded the same, were based on partying in a field, and driving on a dirt road. If you are a true country fan, Eric Worley is your next favorite artist. He grew up in southwest Virginia and has shown an amazing talent for singing and songwriting going back to his teenage years. His unique songwriting style features skillfully planned lyrics, a catchy melody, and a delivery that is all his own. Eric doesn’t sound like anyone else; he sounds like himself I am doing a bit more talking in this episode than usual, partly because Eric is so quiet, and partly because though I want to keep it professional I need to have more of a voice on this podcast. Coincidentally, I have a little bitty (just a min or so) PSA at the end of this episode. Lastly, I am currently updating the Website and YouTube over the week, so if they look weird to you or your unable to find something, please be patient and be kind. Remember to keep supporting Independent Musicians and to make some noise.
Pretty Please like and subscribe to Sound Pollution on whatever listening platform you use.

Thumper Salyer of RMA
Episode 11 & 13

Welcome back to Sound Pollution and thank you for listening. I am aware I am a day late for this episode, and I apologize to you listeners and my guests. My new normal isn’t very normal and I am just trying to navigate through it all. This week I got to have a great interview with Thumper Salyer of RMA. Thumper Salyer has been in music most of his life. Growing up in a musical family in southwest Virginia, Thumper began playing live shows as a child. Coupled with his vast knowledge of music history, Thumper quickly became one of the premier artists in the region. He has always had a passion for songwriting and his debut album will showcase his talents. His self-described genre of Alternative Americana really encompasses the eclectic blend of music that you can expect him to deliver. With songs that can range from stone cold country to hard rock, Thumper knows no bounds when creating music. Coupled with his unique ability to deliver vocals that range from silk to sandpaper, you are sure to find something you will love in his catalog. His songs feature deep lyrics, complex melodic elements, and a unique ability to connect with the listener on a personal level. Many listeners often find themselves in the songs. This is an artist that you will want to follow throughout his career!
